1. What we collect
Wallet address; optional email and phone; identity-verification results from our verification partner (a pass/fail signal and the partner's reference — see §3); connected social handles you choose to link; on-chain and ledger activity (trades, burns, claims, payouts); images you upload (e.g. a token logo); support and dispute communications; and basic device/usage data needed to run the service securely.
2. How we use it & legal bases
To operate the marketplace and your account; verify eligibility, age, and identity; arrange and coordinate experiences; calculate and pay royalties/commissions; prevent fraud and abuse; send notifications you opt into; and meet legal obligations. Depending on your location, our legal bases include performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in a safe platform, your consent (e.g. marketing email), and compliance with law.
3. Identity & sensitive data
Identity verification is performed by our third-party provider (Veriff). They process your government ID and biometric/liveness data under their own terms; MuseX receives a verification result and limited verified fields (e.g. name, date of birth, document type) needed for safety — not your raw ID documents in this console. For an in-person experience, the verified identity of the participants may be used by MuseX and shared with the Creator for safety. We do not sell sensitive data.
4. Sharing
We share data with service providers under contract — identity verification (Veriff), email (Loops), image hosting and cloud infrastructure (AWS), and blockchain/RPC providers — and with a Creator only as needed for access you've requested (e.g. a connected social a tier requires, or verified identity before a meetup). We disclose data where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
5. On-chain data is public
Blockchain transactions are public and permanent by design. Your wallet address, trades, and burns may be visible on-chain and cannot be deleted or anonymized by MuseX.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (e.g. anti-money-laundering and tax records). Identity-verification records are retained for the period required for safety and legal compliance, then deleted or de-identified. On-chain data persists independently of MuseX.
7. Your choices & rights
You can update or remove your email and connected socials at any time. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing, subject to legal retention requirements. 8. Security, transfers & children
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards; no system is perfectly secure. Data may be processed in countries other than yours under appropriate safeguards. MuseX is strictly for adults — it is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified in-product or by email. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
